HP TouchPad Drops in Price to $99

According to Engadget and their sources, the HP TouchPad is dropping in price fast. The low end 16GB flavor of HP goodness has stooped down to $99 at several online Canadian retail stores, namely Best Buy, Future Shop, etc. No word on whether the price drop will make it to US online retail stores just yet.

Apparently it looks like HP has decided to stop selling and marketing WebOS designed products. I would say HP is taking a new direction instead of trying to constantly compete with the iPad's dominance over the tablet market. I think it's unfortunate that WebOS should ever be killed off. It's one of the coolest looking OSs I've ever used.
